Long Distance Shopping
It used to be that if you were looking for a different vehicle, you planned to spend a number of days driving around car lots to see if anything interested you. (Usually on Sunday, so a salesperson would not pester you.) When I lived in Stevens Point and was looking for a newer Porsche or BMW it meant buying the Sunday Chicago Tribune to see what was available, then planning a 2-3 day trip to go shopping.
With the advent of the internet all that has changed. Now a wide variety of vehicles are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They usually have multiple photos and lengthy descriptions, all meant to make you powerless to say no. The EBay auction website is also very popular with shoppers. It doesn’t matter how far away you are, various means of delivery are available.
In the past few months we have sold two Boxsters to California customers,
another Boxster S to a couple in Toronto and a 911 in Chicago. Also a Cayman to Mequon (OK that’s not that far but it was of note because it was my first new Porsche sale.)
In addition we have sold other brands out of state; a Mercedes to Florida, a Mini to Seattle, an Audi to Vancouver, British Columbia, a Mazda RX8 to Louisiana.
So if we can help you find something, no matter where you are, please contact me at (414) 290-1445.
Your dedicated Porsche guy,
Chuck Kadonsky
